The SeedMint21 SeedQR steel backup plate enables you to back up your precious seed words as a scanable QR Code, ready to use with your SeedSigner, but not limited to it. Use the inbuilt transcription help process of the SeedSigner signing device to transcribe your seed easily and securely. Every sold unit directly supports the SeedSigner development fund.

Transcribe your SeedQR to the SteelQR Plate using the “backup seed” function of your SeedSigner and punch the marked holes to complete the QR Code. For best results, use an automatic center punch with enough punching force, like this one. It is advised to blacken out the marks with a permanent marker after punching for easier scanning.
