PSUBB – 12V Server PSU Breakout Board for Bitcoin Mining & Bench Power Distribution

Turn a compatible server power supply into a clean, organized 12V power distribution hub for Bitcoin miners and bench setups. PSUBB gives you 6 XT60 outputs, 6 always-on fan headers, a low-power always-on 12V output, and a switched accessory terminal. All from a single server PSU.

PSUBB is a 12V breakout board that connects to tested compatible server power supplies and distributes clean, switched 12V power across multiple outputs. It’s built for Bitcoin mining rigs, Bitaxe setups, and DIY bench power applications where you need reliable, organized power from a high-wattage server PSU.

Six XT60 connectors handle your primary 12V loads. Six 4-pin fan headers run at 12V whenever the main output is on, ideal for always-on cooling without extra wiring. A dedicated always-on 12V output (rated up to 2A) stays live as long as the PSU has standby power, useful for low-power monitoring or lighting. An additional switched 12V screw terminal lets you connect low-to-moderate power accessories on the main power rail.

Power on using the onboard rocker switch, or connect a standard 2-pin PC front-panel power switch lead to the header for external control. This is especially useful when PSUBB is installed inside a compatible case or enclosure.

PSUBB is designed to work with specific tested server power supplies (see compatibility list below). Total available current and safe load limits depend on the PSU model used and the input voltage supplied to that PSU.

Warnings & Safety

  • Enclosure required. PSUBB must be installed inside its compatible case/holder and secured with the provided screws. The underside of the PCB has exposed solder joints and connector pins that carry dangerous voltage when powered. Never operate the board loose, unsecured, or outside of a proper enclosure.
  • This is a DIY product. Assembly and use require basic electrical knowledge. You are responsible for safe installation, correct wiring, and appropriate load management.
  • Disconnect all power before installing, removing, or changing any wiring.
  • Always verify polarity before connecting any equipment. Reversed polarity can destroy connected devices instantly and may create a fire or shock hazard.
  • The switched screw terminal is for accessories only. It is not rated or intended as a primary high-current miner output.
  • The always-on 12V output is limited to 2A. Exceeding this rating may damage the board.
  • Fan headers are 12V only. They do not support PWM speed control or tachometer/RPM reporting. Connected fans will run at full speed.
  • This board does not increase PSU capacity. Your total safe load is limited by the PSU model, input voltage, wiring, connectors, and cooling. Exceeding the PSU’s rated output can cause overheating, shutdown, or fire.
  • Use appropriate wire gauge, connectors, and fusing/protection for your load. Undersized wiring is a fire risk.
  • For indoor use only.
  • Use at your own risk. The seller assumes no liability for damage, injury, or loss resulting from improper use, installation, or overloading.
