The NerdNOS is powered by the BM1397 (the same ASIC used in the Bitaxe Max), but to stay performant and don’t cosume too much power, the ASIC is heavily underclocked, so the NerdNOS does only consume about 8W, which are provided by the USB-C cable which powers your NerdMiner. A NerdMiner (aka LilyGo S3 Display) with presoldered GPIO pins is required to use the upgrade kit. The Full Kit comes with the display included.
